Hey There,
Nice 2 meet u.

First of all thank you for being here and taking either an interest in my business or an interest in working with me, both equally amazing.

What started out as a side project to my freelance role aimed at raising the awareness of sustainability in business through design and print, has thrown up a passion for working with SMEs and start-up businesses.

On my journey to this point I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some truly amazing people and businesses, who have inspired me to take this further. Hearing their stories, what drives them and the passion they put into their businesses is just incredible. And it’s those 3 factors that are driving me forward.

There’s so many small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups out there who never quite make it past their first few years in business, whilst there are so many reasons for that happening I think a part of it, is the sheer amount of hats us business owners need to wear, on a daily basis. It can be pretty overwhelming at times.

But for the visual side of business life, I’m here, I want to help you, I want to explore your business, your driving force and ultimately give you that spark that will set you apart from your competitors. I’m also happy to be a sounding board and equally happy to share my knowledge.

As you read through my website you’ll see the word we and team used quite often, whilst I am the sole business owner I have a network of trusted designers of all areas, copywriters and developers who we can tap into for their expertise should we need them. So in other words nothings off the table, I know your struggles and I’m right by your side for whatever it is you need, if I don’t have the answers I know an expert that will, I believe great things come from collaboration.

So with all that aside, welcome to The Spark Labs, I genuinely hope we get to chat, meet for a coffee (a zoom coffee is also on offer), and work together soon.

A little bit of background on me.

I’ve been working with graphic design, brands and print for around 20 years, loved and love every minute of it. I have a really keen interest in marketing, anything green and all things creative!

The experience I’ve gained over the years has equipped me with a unique blend of print know-how and digital finesse. I work across a variety of projects including, but not limited to, brand design, brand management, events, magazines, reports and publications, campaigns, digital media, social media and websites.

I have seen the design process inside out, from all different angles. For many years, I worked within the heart of a marketing department, I have executed campaigns, as well as measured a campaigns response, so I really do understand how a brand’s identity works when it leaves the studio and heads off into the world.

I also have two children, who are both very full of energy and a joy to be around. At the time of writing this my oldest is 7 (going on 17), and my youngest is 3 (just grew out of the terrible twos and headed straight into the ‘threenager’ stage!). So to all of you entrepreneurial parents out there I know where your coming from when 4 am isn’t the middle of the night anymore, 10am is the new lunch time, and you often wake up with a stegosaurus staring right back at you!
